Barack Obama: an Advocate for LGBT Americans

I don't care what anyone says about Obama's recent "mishaps" regarding LGBT Americans or his personal views regarding gay marriage (there's more pressing issues for Gay Americans). So there's no openly LGBT person in his cabinet? Not a big deal. A cabinet should be filled with whomever he feels is the most qualified. As far as I'm concerned, Barack Obama is an advocate for LGBT Americans. He's still a politician and he can only move so far to the left, without dividing the nation on issues that are still very divisive in some regions.
